The newly constructed wing of the
Shivaji Junior Basic School was inaugurated by Hon’ble Sarpanch,Sagroli, Mrs
Sujata Sidnod on 15th June, this year. A well facilitated set of class rooms are
added to the exiting accommodation. Now
with 17 class rooms, library, staff room, computer lab and modern set of
toilets (separate for girls and boys), the school now can educate 1000 plus
pupils in an ideal and hygienic atmosphere.
The
philanthropic gesture of the Habitat for Humanity and The Hero has encouraged
the SSM to materialize this herculean task.
The representatives of both the organizations visited the school on 1st
of July.
The
tiny tots and young kids of Shivaji Junior Basic School were presented with a
surprise on the reopening day itself.
The newly constructed two floored building has been prepared as a place
of great admiration for the primary children.
All the walls of the class rooms, corridors, stair cases are painted
with colorful cartoons like Doreman, Spiderman, Bheem, Chutki, Raju, Jaggu,
Kalia, Dholu-Bolu, and so on… In
addition, language basics, vocabulary, useful phrases, basic maths, day-to-day
words in use are also painted. It all
took a great effort of the art teacher of the school Mr. Vishwabrahma, who
tirelessly worked for two months full.
It was a great feast to eyes. The
pupils have been rushing to school these days.
